Called to renew trade-mag subscription (Food Processing Magazine). Not spam.; Spam; I love this blocking app stop calling me you stupid people!!!; Called our business 3x this morning. They don’t say anything at all.; Spam. I am on do not call list; Survey spam; Aspen is a legit company calling usually to update info for subscription for a trade mag….one you get free as you are in that industry. These pubs subscribers are called every year to update and verify their info. Why? They are audited by either The BPA or ABC so they can truthfully tell advertisers how fresh their demographic info is. Did you ever get a trade pub with a cover on it asking you to fill out misc info and to renew? If you fill that out 1 time a year and mail it in..poof no more calls. The do not call list does not apply if you have a relationship with the caller such as a magazine subscription. How do I know all this? I work for a professional publisher who uses Aspen to call subscribers. They are very professional and there is a reasonable human on the othet end.; Calls but leaves no message.; You can report such calls if you are on the no call list here: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx; Caller asked for someone who doesn’t take calls and said their name was Alex Cook. He did not say upfront where he was calling from but when I asked he said Workforce Magazine and he claimed he needed to update information. When I informed him that the person that he wanted to speak to was unavailable he told me I could answer his questions and I cut him off as we are a business with no time to answer questions on magazines we don’t want.
